First Lecture

I was thrilled to be a student again and have the opportunity to pursue my studying. I started my first day at UKH.  The first lecture was with Dr. Zana, an educated and qualified lecturer who is also the dean of the department. His method of creating a discussion and making everyone participate, as well as internalizing the concept of applied linguistics, was astonishing. He smiled and said, "Applied linguistics is not a branch of linguistics, and maybe it's better to change the name of this field."

Induction Day

Moving to the world of studying at the age of 38, I arrived at Hawler two hours earlier than the induction process at the UKH Auditorium. Under the influence of the encouraging speech by UKH President Prof. Keith Sharp, a spark of freshness ignited inside me and immediately decided to remove all social media apps. I knew a long and tough journey awaited me.
